Two Los Angeles County cops shot and killed a man carrying a crow-bar in Monterey, Ca. That wouldn't be a huge deal, even cops have a right to defend themselves, but according to this article the blood thirsty cops shot him 10 times. Five after he was already on the ground. Imagine if you or I had done that? I know a lot of my conservative readers will defend these dirty scumbags no matter what, but I ask you: does wearing a badge make you above the law?

Mike,
ReplyDeleteGet the facts straight. It was two Los Angeles County (King of Corruption, Lee Baca's boys) who shot the man in Monterey Park.
Just because the article you got it from is also wrong isn't an excuse.
You are absolutely right, it is no excuse. I appreciate you pointing this out and I have made the correction...the point doesn't change
ReplyDeleteAfter multiple viewings, I can find nothing wrong the execution. It was technically flawless, humane even.
ReplyDeleteThe sad truth is that the officer under attack was too busy holstering his weapon to have any chance of self defense. It was one of the stupidest and least professional moves I've ever seen, worthy of death where law of the jungle prevails.
Returning to the shooter, though, HE MADE A CHOICE, RIGHT OR WRONG, to kill the attacker. Once the choice is made, the only consideration worthy of MERIT is follow-through, stickwithitness.
Firing 10 bullets instead of 5 (two bursts of rat-tat-tat-tat-tat) is par for the course, much like foot racers sprint PAST the finish line. Termination with extreme prejudice.
It's ugly and to no one's benefit. Let us hope the officer doesn't suffer more than is reasonably due for a homicide. It could have been much worse.

"blood thirsty cops"
ReplyDeleteReally? That's some fine journalism 0_o
The Police should shoot someone like this until the threat is no longer there. The Police had no chance to search his person for a concealed weapon. While he was on the ground, where we couldn't see, he may have been reaching into his jacket. Grounds in my eyes to continue firing to stop the threat. Don't forget: You were not there. It's easy to sit back in your little office chair behind your desk and type away, berating those who take great risks to keep your thankless self and family safer.
