State sovereignty

This state has a budget crisis, unemployment is at an all time high, and people are fleeing in droves. Gov. Jerry Brown recently proposed a do nothing budget that relies on continued over taxation to be successful. Is anyone surprised that he is actually missing the point? Over taxation/regulation is the problem. No one has ever cured a patient by prescribing poison. If the governor were serious about making California solvent he would have suggested selling off all state properties to private investors, Privatizing the education system, phasing out the welfare state, selling state owned transit operations to private investors, Eliminating the state income tax, and rejecting the many burdens imposed on this state by federal mandates. The first step California must make is to reclaim it's sovereignty.
